The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
